HERMESv3_GR serves as a “global emissions engine” for weather-chemistry modellers, smart-city twins and climate-impact services, delivering consistent, configurable atmospheric emissions based on the processing of existing global and regional inventories, turning them into actionable, scenario-ready inputs for high-resolution forecasting and planning.
Provides hourly, gridded emissions for any user-defined regional or global mesh, a prerequisite for running next-gen GPU weather-chemistry models and ensemble forecasts on EuroHPC systems which is aligned with the HPC trend of Sub-kilometre exascale Earth-system modelling.
