The 16th of November from 15:30h to 17:00h at the BSC Auditorium will be held the Investors day of the Innovation Journey, a training program in technology that aims to promote entrepreneurship among BSC-CNS and X4HPC researchers. We will delve into the musts of funding strategies, learning about the different public and private financing options, and how to apply these concepts to your unique research ideas. The 9th of November from 15:00 to 17:00h at the BSC Auditorium will be held the Spinoff day of the Innovation Journey, a training program in technology that aims to promote entrepreneurship among BSC-CNS and X4HPC researchers. We’ll teach you all the management skills a good CEO should master and the art of building high-performing teams. During the afternoon, we will hear real stories of BSC Spin-offs from previous editions. Have you ever wondered how are Spin-offs developing BSC technologies inside their companies? “Artificial Intelligence“, an exhibition co-produced by the CCCB and the Barcelona Supercomputing Center – Centro Nacional de Supercomputació (BSC-CNS), is inaugurated, based on an original traveling exhibition curated and organized by the Barbican Center in London in 2019. The exhibition will be open until March 17, 2024.

The X4HPC network attended the Deep Tech Jungla, an event that fosters a rainforest entrepreneurial ecosystem of Barcelona, emphasizing innovation in the area of Deep Tech through collaboration, diversity, and trust. It is inspired by the metaphor of a rainforest, promoting the idea that a thriving startup environment thrives on the diverse interactions between various stakeholders.

The Innovation Journey is a technology transfer training program designed and designed for BSC and X4HPC researchers who wish to acquire the tools to bring their technologies to the market. The 2023 edition will take place from October 19th to November 30th with the aim of promoting entrepreneurship among researchers.

During the informative session, use cases will be presented by companies that benefit from the use of supercomputing as a work tool.

The X4HPC Network has opened a new call for Valorisation studies 2023 developed by expert suppliers in the field, for all members of the network. The call offers optional support at no cost to research groups aiming to transfer their technologies or launch their spinoffs and can cover studies such as: market studies, industrialisation plans, legal assessment, mentoring, business plans or public financing plans.
