Description:

BioFVM-X extends the open-source BioFVM solver with MPI partitioning of its core kernels (domain decomposition, Gaussian profile build-up, Thomas solver, etc.), allowing tissue-scale diffusion simulations to spill across many nodes. This is a prerequisite for patient-specific “digital-twin” therapy treatment simulations.

BioFVM-X is an MPI-enabled engine that can power digital-twin simulations combining distributed CPU kernels, that helps link tissue-scale predictions to clinical outcomes.
