On November 22nd, the X4HPC Network along with BSC’s Innovation & Business Development Area and the collaboration of Malcom Bain, a renowned partner at Across Legal and a foremost expert in IP source and open hardware licensing; unveiled the initiative and creation of the Standardization Guide of Open Source and Open Hardware Protection.
The guide is a practical tool crafted with the objective to serve as a practical tool that can be used by technology transfer centers, principal investigators and research groups (postdocs PhD students), to help them navigate their journey to the market and find the best strategy to valorise their open source and open hardware assets.
