X4HPC’s participation in the Barcelona Deep Tech Summit 2025 highlighted the key role of collaboration between research, industry, and startups in driving technological innovation in Europe.

During the event, held from November 4 to 6 in Barcelona, X4HPC showcased some of its most outstanding projects and took part in initiatives that demonstrate the strength of the European Deep Tech ecosystem.

 Strong presence at the event

X4HPC featured a booth presenting its spinoffs OneCareAI, from the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), and FlexiiC, from the Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona (IMB-CNM, CSIC). Both projects illustrate how artificial intelligence applied to healthcare and microchip innovation are transforming strategic sectors.

Quantum Data Center: from vision to reality

X4HPC organized the presentation “From Vision to Reality: Launching Europe’s First Hybrid Quantum Data Center”, by Elisabeth Ortega (Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech), offering a glimpse into Europe’s first operational hybrid quantum data center, now live in Barcelona.

BSC Tech for Impact Awards 2025
