PRECISEU has opened its Expression of Interest (EoI) to engage innovators, researchers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders across 12 European regions. The aim is to identify promising initiatives in personalised healthcare and support them through mentoring, matchmaking, and proposal development.

The EoI is open to SMEs, startups, research institutions, universities, hospitals, NGOs, and more. Selected participants will be guided through the funneling process ahead of the Open Call later this year.

🎯 Purpose: To boost technology and innovation as key drivers of competitiveness for the growth of small businesses in any technological or sectorial field.
👥 Eligible applicants: Recently established technology-based small enterprises. Companies must have been legally formed more than 6 months and less than 3 years before the application deadline.
💵 Funding details: The minimum eligible budget is €175,000. Grants can cover up to 70% of eligible project costs, with a maximum of €250,000 in funding. Projects involving the hiring of at least one PhD holder (as defined in Annex I) may receive up to 85% co-financing, capped at €325,000 per beneficiary.
⏳ Funding period: Projects must start on or after 01/01/2026 and end by 31/12/2027, or by 31/12/2028 if a 6-month extension is granted.

The call offers optional support at no cost to research groups aiming to transfer their technologies or launch their spinoffs and can cover studies such as: market studies, industrialisation plans, legal assessment, mentoring, business plans or public financing plans.

The application for the call is open from March 17th to May 15th 2025 (both included).

On November 6th, from 10 am to 12 pm, the Startups2Funding activity will take place, where one-on-one meetings will be held between investors and startups.

Steps to sign up:

The “Indústria del Coneixement” Program, promoted by the Department of Research and Universities of the Government of Catalonia, aims to boost an economy based on knowledge by incentivizing the transfer of research results from various knowledge generation centers within the Catalan system of science and innovation.

This program provides for three types of grants:

• Modality A. Llavor:(6 months / €20,000) funding for innovative projects with potential for incorporation into the productive sector.
• Modality B. Producte: (<18 months / <€150,000) grants aimed at obtaining prototypes and valorizing and transferring research results generated by research teams in Catalonia.
• Modality C. Innovadors: (<18 months / €84,000) grants for valorization and knowledge transfer projects developed by innovators during stays in research and innovation entities in Catalonia.
