The session will open with Mariona Sanz introducing and reviewing a decade of BSC Spin-Offs and their growing impact, followed by Sergi Besonias presenting BSC’s strategy to foster venture creation and reinforce the deep-tech innovation ecosystem.
The session will feature three fundraising Spin-Offs: OneCareAI, advancing AI-driven stroke and cardiovascular risk prediction; ELEM’s Virtual Humans technology accurately replicates functional human organs to enable safer therapy testing; and Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech, building full-stack quantum computers and enabling cloud-accessible quantum advantage. Each company will present its technology and investment opportunity.
The programme will also spotlight three emerging ventures progressing toward Spin-Off creation. Resilience, Predicting Climate and Powering Decisions; Alya4Fusion is building next-generation multiphysics digital twins to accelerate fusion energy breakthroughs; and Horus is creating high-efficiency scientific workflow solutions to scale complex computational research.
The event will conclude with a networking session at the BSC Stand during MWC26, connecting investors, entrepreneurs and BSC representatives
