{"id":573,"date":"2023-07-20T08:31:53","date_gmt":"2023-07-20T08:31:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/x4hpc.cat\/?p=573"},"modified":"2023-08-02T14:54:13","modified_gmt":"2023-08-02T14:54:13","slug":"exponential-open-day-qilimanjaro","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/x4hpc.cat\/es\/exponential-open-day-qilimanjaro\/","title":{"rendered":"Exponential Open Day: Qilimanjaro"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bsc.es\/es\">Barcelona Supercomputing Center<\/a> abri\u00f3 el pasado 20 de julio las puertas a los participantes del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accio.gencat.cat\/ca\/activitats\/grans-actes\/exponential-day\/2023\/\">Exponential Day 23<\/a> y Catalonia Exponential Leaders 2023, organizado por ACCI\u00d3,\u00a0 presentando <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qilimanjaro.tech\/\">Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech<\/a>, una spin-off disruptiva nacida del propio BSC.<\/p>\n<p>Ana Simon Villacampa, Open Innovation and Disruption Deputy Director en ACCI\u00d3, fue la encargada de abrir la sesi\u00f3n. Mariona Sanz Aus\u00e0s, jefe de la Unidad de Innovaci\u00f3n y Desarrollo de Negocio y Anna Escoda, responsable de Transferencia de Tecnolog\u00eda del BSC, presentaron el caso BSC y c\u00f3mo se est\u00e1 convirtiendo en un referente en el \u00e1mbito #deeptech y la innovaci\u00f3n, con un ecosistema HPC en Catalu\u00f1a que ha ido creciendo exponencialmente en los \u00faltimos cinco a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Por \u00faltimo, Artur Garcia-Saez, Quantic Leader Researcher en BSC y cofundador en Qilimanjaro, y Marta P Estarellas, CEO en Qilimanjaro, explicaron el caso de Qilimanjaro: un proyecto de computaci\u00f3n qu\u00e1ntica innovador que permitir\u00e1 operaciones que actualmente son inimaginables.
